Adeeba

Adeeba is a paediatric Speech and Language Therapist with a child-centred and neurodiversity-affirming approach to supporting communication. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from Osmania University, India, and is registered with the HCPC and RCSLT in the UK.

Adeeba has extensive experience working across specialist SEMH provisions, specialist schools, mainstream settings, private practice, and teletherapy. Adeeba supports autistic children, children with ADHD, SEMH needs, Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), and a wide range of speech, language and communication profiles. She is particularly skilled in working within emotionally supportive, relationship-based environments that prioritise co-regulation, trust and psychological safety.

Adeeba has a special interest in speech sound disorders and stuttering and brings strong clinical skills in AAC, Makaton, and both low- and high-tech communication systems. She is trained in Gestalt Language Processing (GLP) and incorporates GLP-informed practice into her therapy, modelling developmentally appropriate language and recognising echolalia and scripts as meaningful, purposeful communication. Her approach supports children to move at their own pace towards more flexible, self-generated language.

Across her work, Adeeba delivers comprehensive assessments, evidence-based intervention, and practical communication strategies that are implemented collaboratively with families, teachers, and wider school teams. She emphasises functional, embedded support across home and school environments and values culturally responsive, strengths-based practice tailored to each child’s unique needs.

Alongside her paediatric focus, Adeeba has considerable teletherapy experience, providing intervention for articulation and phonological disorders, fluency, voice, and adult neuro-communication needs.

Outside of work, Adeeba enjoys travelling, spending time with her family, and relaxing with quiet evenings at home.
